7 DAYS KILIMANJARO CLIMBIMNG VIA UBWE ROUTE.
Climb Mount Kilimanjaro via the challenging route called umbwe route.dispite the fact that umbwe route is difficult route but Winners Expeditions Mountain guide will provide motivation that will helps you to reach to the roof of Africa. Umbwe route require the climbers who are more strong and they are able to acclimatize quickly to the altitude .the route is located in southern part of the mountain Kilimanjaro ,after reaching to the top of mountain Kilimanjaro the descending way that will help you to return in Moshi town is Mweka route via Mweka village.
Day 0; arrive in Tanzania.
The moment you arrive in Tanzania Winners Expeditions mountain guide will pick you from the Kilimanjaro international airport to the hotel with enough services in Moshi town for resting enjoying your day, then you will meet with our professional mountain guide who will brief you a real situation of Mount Kilimanjaro, they will talk for the issue of mountain gear that you have and the missing one will be rented faster on this day.
Day One (1): Moshi town to Umbwe Gate to Umbwe Camp
• Rising (ft.): 5,905ft /1,800m to 9,190ft /2,800m
• Stretch: 8 km
• Hiking time: 5-7 hours
• Climatic habitat: Rain Forest
Early in the morning after the breakfast mountain guider will take you from the hotel in Moshi and transfer to Umbwe gate where you will receive permit that will allow you to enter in to a Kilimanjaro National Park for starting hiking .registration will take 45 ,porter will take your tent and your supplies and starting hiking up to umbwe camp. Between with, you will meet with amazing denser forest where you will see giant fig tree and rubber tree, wow! So interested. At umbwe camp you will take dinner, resting and overnight.
Day two (2): Umbwe Camp Barranco Camp.
• Rising (ft.): 9,190ft /2,800m to 12,800ft /3,900m
• Stretch: 8 km
• Hiking time: 4-5 hours
• Climatic habitat: Moorland
After early breakfast you will move from umbwe camp to barranco camp. Before reaching to giant Erica and heat land you will cross steeply via disappearing rain forest. After lunch, you begin to enter into the semi-desert terrain when you trek through a wonderful garden. During evening you will be able to see sunset. You will take dinner, resting and the whole overnight .
Day three (3) Acclimatization day.
• Stretch: 10 km
• Hiking time: 7 hours
• Climatic habitat: Moorland
At day three, it will be a day of inuring to a new climate.it will done at Barranco camp. At this day you will enjoy much by see the attractive scenery of the grousel-clad campsite, you will use camera to take photo of those attractive natural environment. Barranco camp is a perfect camp for acclimatization.

Day four (4): Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp.
• Rising (ft): 12,960ft /3,950m to 13,780ft/4,200m
• Stretch: 7 km
• Hiking time: 4 hours
• Climatic habitat: Moorland
Early in the morning you will take breakfast, then you will continue hiking to the glacier where it is very easily as it look like. Then continue down via karanga valley. Still screw will carry you luggage. You will continue move to karanga camp. Karanga camp provide fantastic views of mawenzi peak. You will take lunch, dinner, resting and whole overnight.
Day five (5): Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp.
• Rising (ft): 13,780ft / 4,200m to 14,930ft / 4,550m
• Stretch: 5 km
• Hiking time: 3-4 hours
• Climatic habitat: Alpine desert
Early in the morning you will take breakfast at karanga camp. Then you will continue hiking while leaving karanga campsite. You will hit the junction which connect Mweka trail. Then continue to the ridge to reach at Barafu camp. Crew will establish campsite and prepare your lunch and dinner.at this camp you will prepare all required summit gears before sleep. You will rest while waiting summit day.

Day six (6) Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak to Mweka Camp
• Rising (ft): 14,930ft / 4,550m to 19,340ft / 5,895m to 10,170ft/ 3,100m
• Stretch: 7 km up and 22 km down
• Hiking time: 8 hours up, 9-10 hours down
• Climatic habitat: Arctic
Wow! Wonderful day. You will wake up in the mid night for summit. Mountain guide will take you from barafu camp to start summit while you have all necessary equipment for summit, you will start zigzag movement to head in northwesterly and ascend through heavy scree to the point between Rtzel and Rebmann glacier toward Stella point. Depending to your pace you will get chance of enjoying sunrise. You will stop for few minutes and continue hiking along rim to reach uhuru peak. You will enjoying much and having few minutes for taking picture of different natural features and African continent. After few minutes you will start descending up to barafu camp to collect your gears and few minutes of resting. Then you will continue descend to Mweka camp. Mweka camp located at the forest, hence you will experience little rain in the afternoon. You will take dinner, and refreshment by taking soft drink, as well as beer.

Day seven (7): Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate to Moshi town
• Rising (ft): 10,170ft / 3,100m to 6,500ft / 1,980m
• Stretch: 10 km
• Hiking time: 3-4 hours
• Climatic habitat: Rain Forest
After the breakfast you will continue descend from Mweka camp to mweka gate to receive your summit certificate. Our vehicle will wait your for taking you from Mweka gate to Moshi town specifically to the hotel via Mweka village for More celebration of summit the roof of Africa. You will be enjoying, celebrating and refreshing while waiting a day of departure where our vehicle will transfer you from hotel in Moshi town to Kilimanjaro Airport.
